Whether you’re upgrading the drum brakes on your old pickup’s rear axle, or adding disc brakes to a 14-bolt axle for a project vehicle, we’ve got you covered. And you’ll love your 14-bolt disc brake setup when the project’s done. Cab & chassis axles came from a 1-ton dual rear wheel truck sold without a pickup bed from the factory. They’re sometimes also called a “cab chassis” or “chassis truck.”

These axles are narrower than the standard dually axles from a truck with a normal pickup truck bed. This kit is for a dual rear wheel axle using a single rear wheel. It will not work for dually wheels.

Converting the drum brakes on your 14-bolt rear axle to disc brakes has a lot of benefits:

• Easier brake maintenance
• Increased resistance to brake fade
• Reduced unsprung weight on the rear axle for a better ride
• Improved brake pedal feel
